The US firm Veritone is releasing a new platform for cloning voices using deepfakes, to be licensed as the creators wish.
Veritone president Ryan Steelberg described it as a way for Digital influencers and celebrities to take brand deals and produce content, without having to go into studios and manually perform.
Additionally, Ryan touched on the topic of late celebrities, saying that with the functionality of Marvel.AI, it is hypothetically possible to get custom voice clips from deceased celebrities.
