The US Department of Defence is reportedly using experimental AI to predict events days into the future.

Named GIDE, or the Global Information Dominance Experiment, the Pentagon has recently tested utilizing AI to predict future events. The AI uses both military sensors as well as commercially available information to analyze data and automatically come to conclusions.

One given example of this in action is the AI analyzing the average number of cars in a parking lot, and alerting authorities in the event of a noticeable change in patterns.
