Our client saw that millennials didn’t want to use their parents’ social networks, especially when it came to location sharing and check-in.
However, there was still an appetite for a fun, creative way to schedule, share, and discuss events. They asked us to make a new way to share locations and to turn loose plans into firm meetups.
A robust, scalable solution
We worked with AT to make a robust, AWS-backed, check-in app that went far beyond prototype to a fully productized offering. The app could scale to support hundreds of thousands of simultaneous users.
We designed entire architecture on top of the AWS stack – AppSync, DynamoDB, Cognito and other powerful systems. The client app is a native iOS application which consumes data in real-time with background synchronization and an offline mode.
Getting the job done
The result was a powerful location and scheduling tool that mixes your digital self with your real-world experiences. It’s instantly scalable, beautiful, and runs like a dream.
