The software giant Facebook is currently under fire after reports that its management team is fully aware of the harm its applications mentally inflict on its users, and due to the fact that Facebook-led studies that resulted in criticism of the site have been suppressed and hidden from the public eye intentionally.
Led by researchers at The Wall Street Journal, the files will be discussed in detail today, in a Q&A format, at 1 p.m. ET. Facebook has rebutted by claiming the articles contain “Deliberate mischaracterizations” and “conferred egregiously false motives to Facebook’s leadership and employees“.
