The privacy-centric DuckDuckGo has revealed that they are in the process of developing a web browser with its users’ privacy as a primary focus. While not a “privacy browser”, CEO of DuckDuckGo Gabriel Weinberg called the app a “everyday browsing app that respects your private because there’s never a bad time to stop companies from spying on your search and browsing history.”
The app will be built from the ground up and will feature a sleek design with “unnecessary cruft and clutter” stripped away, in order to provide a better, and faster, user experience.
