Amazon just revealed a plethora of new tech in its fall product event; here’s what’s new.
Amazon Astro: A small, automatic robot with Amazon’s Alexa voice assistant, that can move from room to room, assisting you as needed. The bot can also patrol your house with ring functionality, allowing you to view your house in full from anywhere. The bot comes in at $999.99 and is currently in the pre-order phase.
Always Home Cam: A ring-compatible security drone is now available to purchase for a few select customers, featuring fully autonomous house patrolling. The drone costs $249.99 and has the added cost of Ring virtual security, a subscription service starting at $99 a month.
Halo View: Amazon’s new FitBit and Apple Watch competitor is Halo View, a $79.99 fitness-oriented smartwatch. The band comes with a year free of Amazon Halo, Amazon’s fitness-oriented subscription.
Amazon Glow: Coming in at $249.99, the Amazon Glow is a video calling gadget targeted towards kids, featuring a projector that projects games for children to play with during video calls.
